Show History
The annual White Horse Show was established in 1972 to raise funds for a new village hall
for Uffington, and 2025 marked 50th anniversary of the official opening of the
Thomas Hughes Memorial Hall on Broad Street, Uffington. Today the ‘THMH’ is very
much the centre of village activities and events, and is still supported by the funds
raised through the White Horse Show as are many other causes of the Parishes of
Uffington, Baulking, Kingston Lisle and Woolstone.
